Serving Davidson and Williamson counties, A Grandmother's Wish is dedicated to helping seniors retain their dignity and independence as they advance in age or recover from an illness by assisting them with the tasks of daily living in their place of residence, whether that is a private home, facility or even a hospital.
We provide a personalized schedule of service to meet your needs, from 4 hours per visit up to 24 hours per day (minimum 20 hours per week), whether help is needed temporarily or long term.
Our criteria for screening caregivers goes beyond state requirements and therefore we have a more dependable and trusted group of caregivers, giving you the peace of mind you’re looking for in your time of need. Each of our caregivers must undergo and pass a criminal history check through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, a Department of Motor Vehicle check and pre-employment drug screen. We make certain they are not listed on the Sexual Offender Registry or Elder Abuse Registry and verify their employment history and references.
Additionally, we know how trying it can be for you to invite someone with whom you are not familiar into your home so we strive to provide you with regularly scheduled caregivers who will come to know you and understand your needs and preferences.
