New England Companions is a non-medical home care company which provides companions on an hourly and 24 hour live-in basis to seniors and others throughout Rhode Island & Southern Massachusetts. New England Companions performs a thorough in-home assessment for each client prior to placing a caregiver in their home to ensure that the needs of each individual client are met.  Due to the specialized needs of many of our elderly clients, our caregivers receive training in communicating with people with Alzheimer’s and related dementia, hearing loss and aphasia.  We also specialize in assistance for Veterans!!!

Our screening process includes; a written test, a thorough interview, verification of all references, criminal & Department of Motor Vehicle background checks, and I-9 verification.
  • New England Companions is a member of Companion Connection Senior Care, a national membership organization of non-medical home care agencies. All members have access to recognized experts in the field of home care, as well as the most current educational resources, which enable them to provide the highest level of care to their customers. We are state licensed, bonded and insured and we always have a staff member on-call 24 hours a day in case there is an emergency.
